Well, I wanted to take a minute and ask you to please pray for me this week as I was given an opportunity at church this morning to lead a Jr. high girls small group. While I was in Africa, God confirmed to me that youth is where He wants me, with no doubt in my mind, however I kept saying high school. I know and love high school age, as they have a passion in most cases to go deeper in the word, and Jr. high has never been what I truly feel called too. However, within a week of coming home, this opportunity arises. Please pray God reveals to me if this is where He wants me to be. I know that as long as I can get them excited about the word of God, the chance to go deeper will arise, and we could see lives changed. I heard a quote by Don Rock at training camp before I left for my trip, "Instead of a big mac, they get a happy meal...but everyone walks away with McDonald's" and there is so much truth in that line. As long as I go into it preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified lives will be changed and we can go deeper, I just might have to give them smaller portions than I would give a Junior or Senior in high school. I will be fasting and praying this week over this and praying God's will be shown to me, so I ask you please plead with God on my behalf as well. I want to make sure that going into any ministry that I where God wants me to be.
