1 Corinthians 1:9
I sit in wonder at the awesomeness of God. I mean, truly, how am I blessed enough to be called his daughter and have the privilege of talking about Him.
Tonight, after POT class, Ruthie, Phil, Kyle, and I all went and met Ben at S-Bux to hang out. We thought it will be like every other time, but God had different plans. We have the honor of meeting a guy named Mario. Mario is 21, originally from Salvador and has come to the United States for a better life. He spoke extremely well in English and said he wants to be a writer of some sort. What is awesome about Mario, is due to the obedience of my friends Martin and Kim Dale, Mario was adopted into the family of Christ by confessing and professing Jesus Christ as His Savior. Mario had such an amazing heart and was hungry to know all he could. We were able to encourage him in his faith, share a little bit of our story with him (well, I did) and we exchanged emails/myspace names before we left. This was a moment, a night, a feeling that I can't forget. It was a matter of seeing and meeting a new brother who has so much to learn and has come so far. It was realizing that this life, these few years, are to the glory of Christ and Him alone. That I am here for moments at S-Bux where I am able to rejoice with a new believer, or share with lost soul the saving grace of God. It was for the 45 minutes with Mario that make up the truly amazing moments of my life. I will carry Mario with me forever! I will rejoice over each life transformed by the love of Daddy God. I will remember that I exist for His name and His renown.
I rejoice in knowing Christ and sharing the hope that is in me!!
This is Mario!!
This is Ben sharing the story of the Apostle Paul with Mario!!!

What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice!
Philippians 1:18
But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.
1 Peter 3:15
